You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day-to-day duties: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Six days a week, one day off.
