We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Carroll County, Illinois. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic You will mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. $10,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
