Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Gallatin County, Kentucky. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Day to day you will carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
