Urgent requirement: rigger (Wisconsin)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Pepin County, Wisconsin. The job is at a container port. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
