Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Alleghany County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Rotating shifts.
