Cnc lathe operator — Rockbridge County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Rockbridge County, Virginia. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
