Vacancy available: MIG/MAG welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Irion County, Texas. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
