Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Floyd County, Kentucky. You will work at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear 1+ years on the tools preferred.
