Vacancy available: abattoir worker (Edo)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Owan East, Edo. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; season and marinate meat on request. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
