Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Your main tasks: • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Pay around ₦5,500 per day, based on your experience.
