GTAW welder • Rafi, Niger State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Rafi, Niger State. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer ₦1,200 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
