Immediate opening: we are hiring a deboner in Terrell County, Texas. The job is at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Day-to-day duties: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
