Blocklayer — Toro

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Toro, Bauchi State. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦180,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
