Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
