Immediate opening: hydraulic press operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Wayne County, New York. You will be based on the press shop floor. You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
