Vacancy available: gas installation technician (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Sussex County, Virginia. You will work at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
