Laundry presser — Wamba

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Wamba, Nasarawa State. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer ₦8,500 per day plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
