Pipe lagger — Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Wayne County, West Virginia. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. The role involves: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
