LGV Class 1 driver — Clare County

Join our team: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Clare County, Michigan. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Day to day you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
