Stamping press operator — Kalkaska County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Kalkaska County, Michigan. The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
