Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments.
