Tower crane operator • Cole County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Cole County, Missouri. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
