Crawler crane operator • Chittenden County, Vermont

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Chittenden County, Vermont. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
