Plastering hand — Appomattox County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Appomattox County, Virginia. You will work in a refurbishment property. On the job you will handle: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 1+ years on the tools preferred.
