Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Cherokee County, Alabama. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
