Tiler — Cherokee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiler in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Day to day you will spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
