Now hiring: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Appanoose County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy AC installation company. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Can read electrical and piping schematics On the job you will handle: • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
