Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Effingham County, Illinois. The job is in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Rotating shifts.
