Fusing press operator — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Jefferson County, Florida. You will work in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
