Die-casting operator — Passaic County

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Passaic County, New Jersey. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift.
