Join our team: VMC operator (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Charlevoix County, Michigan. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
