Final inspection operator • Greene County, Illinois

Join our team: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Greene County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Overtime paid at a premium rate.
