Cement mason • Hernando County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Hernando County, Florida. You will work in a residential housing project. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
