Immediate opening: site safety steward (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kura, Kano State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 2+ years on the tools preferred.
