Vacancy available: fusing press operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Beaufort County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
