Power press operator — Scott County

Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Scott County, Mississippi. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
