Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Cook County, Minnesota. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
