Trowel-trade bricklayer — Del Norte County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Del Norte County, California. On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Pay around $3,000 per project, based on your experience.
