Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Gilliam County, Oregon. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
