The role involves: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE Rotating shifts.
