We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Craig County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Part-time with flexible hours.
