Great opportunity: shakeout operator (Oklahoma)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
