Immediate opening: turning centre operator (Scotland)

Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Day to day you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
