AC installation technician • Boone County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Boone County, Iowa. You will be based at an air conditioning service centre. On the job you will handle: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges Ideal candidate: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
