Die-casting operator wanted in Lane County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Lane County, Oregon. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
