Core maker • Menard County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Menard County, Texas. On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
