Thermal insulation technician — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Montgomery County, New York. The role involves: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage Rotating shifts.
