Groundworker — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Carroll County, Maryland. The job is on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
