Crawler crane operator — Lake County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Lake County, Illinois. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. On a typical shift you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 2+ years on the tools preferred.
