Meat cutter — Coos County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Coos County, Oregon. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
